[2021.02.01. Mon] 입이 트이는 영어 Apps for buying and Selling Used stuff

by Namaskara 2021. 2. 1.

 [Brainstorming]
Used goods, second hand items, as good as new, save money

[Speaking] Talk about apps people use to buy and sell used goods

Using apps to easily buy and sell used goods has become very common. Statistics show that roughly a quater of all Koreans use these apps. In the past, people just threw away items they didn’t mean need. Now, people can use apps to sell items that they don’t use or that they can’t return for a refund.

This way, others can make use of the items again for preventing a waste of resources. The buyer can get a good price and the seller can earn a profit. So it’s a win-win.

Some apps for trading used goods make it easy to buy and sell in the local community. Since the sellers register is just a stones throw away, people can meet in person for the a sale. The buyer and seller can also chat online to ask about the product or haggle over the price.
