30 years ago, a woman after author broke up with me. When I asked her why it didn’t work out, the she answered “I don’t know, maybe if you had read more Kafka.” That was one of the worst and funniest break up moments in of my life.

I once went out with a guy who said he needed some more time. I bought him some the hope hurb left it in a packet on his desk. No not sure that is quite what he meant. Never heard from him again.
