[2021.02.04 Thu] 입이 트이는 영어 Doing the dishes

by Namaskara 2021. 2. 4.

[Brainstorming]

soak, a dish soap, rinse, a dish rack

[Speaking] Talk about how you do the dishes.

Before doing the dishes, it's good to put away the dishes on the dish rack in the cover cupboards.

This way I can free up space then I sort the dirty dishes in the sink.

It's better to separate dishes that are greasy from dishes that are not. Otherwise, you will get greasy on all the dishes and have to use a lot of dish soap. If some dishes have rice or sticky sauce on them, you should soak them on in water. if you boil clean water in pots and pans before you wash them, you can get them squeaky-clean.

I usually wash the non-greasy dishes first, and move them to the dish rack. Next, I scrub the dishes that are greasy using a soapy sponge, then I rinse them thoroughly. Finally, I wrappings wrap things up by wiping down the area around the stovetop and the sink.

[Pattern]

I can free up space by emptying the dish rack.

You can free up space by throwing away things you don't need.

You can get pans squeaky-clean.

His car is always squeaky-clean.

The kitchen is squeaky-clean but I haven't cleaned the bathroom.

I wash the dishes with a dish soap and rinse them thoroughly.

You should rinse rice thoroughly before you cook it.

My skin gets itchy if I don't rinse the laundry thoroughly.
