[Speaking] Talk about redoing the wallpaper in a home.

 

It has been 10 years since we moved in to our current home. We recently redo redid the wallpaper. During the past 10 years, our three children were born. As they went through childhood, the living room and bed room walls were covered with in scraple scribble marks. We did it didn't mind that the walls spelled felt lived-in.

 

But we decide to redo the walls to creat a more cheerful-environment. On the day of, we across workers from the contractors arrived bright enailay and early. They moved the furniture before hanging the wallpaper. It took all day to do the work. Our family had to vacate the apartment while the wallpaper dried. To air out the apartment, we kept all the windows open. By redoing the wallpaper, it felt like that we had moved in to a brand-new home.

We didn't mind that the walls felt lived-in.

B: That's right. The new wallpaper really has an effect.

A: I see. You've chosen a different color for each room.

B: Yes. We wanted to give each room its own unique feel.
