by Namaskara 2021. 2. 9.

[BrainStorming] fear out missing out(fomo), relative deprivation

[Speaking]

In our lives, we feel relative deprivation in many ways. We most often feel that way when we try to build up our wealth.

Housing prices have shot up in recent years. People who stretched themselves and took out loans to buy an apartment enjoyed the a large bump in their personal wealth. The stock market hit rock bottom because of Covid 19 last year. But it then rebounded sharply, and set record highs. Many people made a bundle by investing in this bull market.

That's why people who won't weren't able to earn as much feel a strong sense of relative deprivation. It's impossible to be indifferent to money in today's world. I think that it's important to study up on investment techniques.
