When I was younger, I always thought of red long johns if someone mentioned long underwear. It was a tradition for people to buy red long johns for their parents when they got their paycheck for the first time.

 

But these days, attitudes toward long underwear have changed dramatically. In the past, wearing a long underwear was seen as a bit old-fashioned. People often kept it to a secret when they did wear it. But things are different now. The word innerwear is more common and more young people are enthusiastically wearing it. The fabric is thinner, so you can easily dress in layers. The clothing is also offered in subdued colors like black, beige, and white.

 

Thermal underwears are is specially popular these days. This type of innerwear wigs a way wicks away of moisture from the body and uses it to generate heat.
