We return to Myanmar today, an Asian country also known as Burma, a military coup took place there a month ago, and protestors have been welling up ever since.
Bermee's military commander has said that troops have been using minimal force source when confronting protestors.
But on Sunday during demonstrations across the country, troops used tear gas, stungun stun grenades and according to the United Nations live Immunition ammunition against protestors, and the UN Human Rights official Office says that left at least 18 people dead and dozens of others injured across Myanmar.
When the coup began, the military said it had removed in and replaced the nation's civilian leader and 24 members of her government.
That leader is 아웅산수치, and the military brought a new charge against her on Monday.
It is accused accuses 수치 of breaking the law by publishing information that may cause fear of or alarms. Suchi's political party won big in national elections last November but the military said says that the vote was fraudulent, and though it also it`s promised to hold new elections to bringing bring in "true and displined" the democracy, the military has declared a year-long national emergency for the time being and it has not yet set it a date for more elections to take places. So the protests, some of which have been violate to violent continue while activists ask have asked other countries to get involved in stoping the military take over takeover.
Tensions between demonstrators and government's forces also have have also been flaring in Hongkong. This is a special administrative region of China. People there enjoy more freedoms than residents in mainland China but the communist country says it's ultimately uncontrol in in control of Hongkong. China imposed a national security law last year that says people who try to succeed, subvered subvert the governemnt or cooperate with other countries against it could spend their lives in prison.
47 activists were recently arrested under that law and it accused of trying this subered to subvert that HK`s government by organizing an unofficial election. But the a lawyer for the defendants says that the charges are a challenges to HK's fail fair electoral system and that they were brought without enough evidence.
The arrested arrests of 47 pro-democracy politicians here in HK spiking is sparking fresh outrage and first fresh protests. In fact, this is the lagrest group of demonstrators I've ever seen simble assemble since Beijing imposed its National Securty of law on in this city last summer, all these people who are out here are facing prosecution on a couple of different frawns fronts.
One, the they`re violating Covid restrictions on crowd side size and two, some of them are tenting chanting slogans and holding up banners. The police out here have has warned that could put them in violoation of the national security law and threaten them with arrest in and prosecution themselves just like the dozens of pro-democracy lawmakers in the West Courthouse behind me.
Now you can see a large group of police officials officers out here. They have been warning protesters but things have remained peaceful out here. The protestors and the police have been co-existing, standing side by side, a few insults hurled here and there but things really subdued.

But it is extraordinary in this time with fear about the national security law and restrictions from the Covid 19 pandeminc this year to see a crowd the stretched that stretches around black the block.
A crowd that was growing until HK police police cordoned off this area and they tried to try to chock off the crowds and prevent more people from coming here. Warning everybody that if they don't leave, they can could face arrest.
