아침 일찍 보충 수업이 있어서 엄마에게 일찍 깨워달라고 했는데, 엄마도 늦잠을 주무셨습니다. 늦게 일어나 부랴부랴 학교를 가려고 하는데, 어젯밤 교복이 장마로 인해 덜 마른 상태였어요. 냄새나는 교복을 입고 학교로 달려가는데, 가는 도중에 비둘기 친구가 교통사고 나는 걸 목격했습니다. 그런데 발 밑에서 뭔가 묵직하고 부드러운 것이 살포시 밟히는 듯한 느낌. 누구껀지? 어느 동물인지?? 알고 싶지도 않았고, 근처 수도가에서 신발 바닥을 세척하고 학교 도착했는데, 친구가 '아야 무슨 일이냐? 너' 라고 물어봅니다. 오늘은 이럴 때 쓸 수 있는 영어 표현을 한번 배워보도록 하지요
