[Speaking]Talk about how you study 입트영 on your own
I would like to form a study group for 입트영, but the spread of COVID-19 has made this impossible. That’s why I have come up with different ways to master 입트영 all by myself.
First, I read aloud all the words in the brainstorming section for each day`s topic. I flash flesh out the words as I think about them. Second, I write down my personal views about the study group questions in English. Third, I follow along to the day’s passage as I listen to the recording by a native speaker. I record voice memos on my phone and listen to the day’s file 5 times at the very least while I am on the move.
Next, I record the dialogue section in Korean and practice it until I can spit it out in English off the top of my head. Finally, I always practice the composition section in a notebook. I try translating Korean into English and vice versa.
"입트영" 스터디 모임을 만들고 싶지만, 코로나 19의 확산으로 인해 이것이 불가능해졌다. 그래서 나는 혼자서 입트영을 정복하는 다양한 방법을 고안해냈다.
첫째, 그날 주제의 브레인스토밍 부분에 나와 있는 단어들을 전부 소리 내어 읽으며, 그 단어들에 살을 붙여(flesh out) 생각해본다. 둘째 스터디 그룹 질문들에 대한 나의 개인적인 견해를 영어로 써본다. 셋째, 원어민의 음성을 들으며 그날 본문을 따라 말해 본다. 그리고 내 휴대폰에 음성 녹음을 하고, 그날의 녹음 파일을 이동 중에 최소한 5번 듣는다.
다음에는 대화문 부분을 한국어로 녹음하고 영어로 고민없이 말이 나올 때까지 연습한다.
마지막으로 작문은 공책에 항상 적어서 연습한다. 한국어를 영어로 번역해 보고, 그 반대로도 해 본다

코로나바이러스 때문에 그건 제외했어
A: Are you making progress on your own like that?
그렇게 혼자서 해도 진척이 있어?
B: I`ve developed my own know-how.
저 나름대로의 요령을 터득했어.

[Composition]
1. 이걸 전부 너 혼자서 준비한거야?

2. 그곳까지 가는 데 최소한 2시간은 걸릴 것이다.

4. 그녀는 혼자서도 할 수 있는 나이가 됐다.
She is old enough to go it alone.

5. 이 곳에서 수년간 일을 하면서 나만의 요령을 터득했다.
