[Speaking] Talk about Walking Dogs
If there is one thing dogs like even more than snacks, it's going on walks. They go nuts as soon as you pick up a leash. During a walk, dogs sniff around and mark places their pass. It's similar to people clicking "like" on a social media post.
I get a lot out of going for a walk, sometimes even more than my dog. When it rains, we go outside with an umbrella and I let her smell the rain. When it snows, we walk in the freshly fallen snow together.
People can step outside and move about freely. But for companion animals, their world is limited to the world of their owners. Spending time with family and going on walks might be their only happiness.
만약에 개들이 간식보다 더 좋은 하는게 있다면, 산책가는 것일 것이다. 목줄을 들자마자 사방팔방 뛰면서 좋아한다. 강아지들은 산책하면서 이곳저곳을 킁킁대고 지나가는 길에 영역표시를 한다. 사람들이 SNS 게시물에 '좋아요'를 누르는 것과 비슷하다.
산책을 하면서 때로는 강아지보다 내가 더 즐거울 때도 있다. 비가 오면서 우산을 쓰고 나가서 비 냄새를 맡게 해준다. 눈이 오면 금방 내린 눈 위를 함께 걷는다.
사람은 스스로 밖으로 나가서 자유롭게 돌아다닐 수 있지만 반려동물에게 그들의 세상은 주인의 세상이 전부이다. 가족과 함께 시간을 보내고 산책을 나가는 것이 어쩌면 강아지들에게는 행복의 전부일 수도 있다.
