I've hosted a Radio program for a quite number of years in the past. And our producer often told me that the whole point of DJing a program is to really connect with listeners. Speak, as you are speaking to one listener not everyone as a group. So, that is the connection.

 

[Speaking] Explain what you enjoy about listening to the Radio

These day, there are countless types of broadcast media. It'a a golden age of media platforms. In this kind of setting, radio doesn't seem very advanced. But radio clearly has its own unique charm.

First, you can related to the DJ when you tune in to a radio show. You can also bond with the other listeners. Plus, you only need your ears to listen to the radio, so you can multi-task. It's nice to be able to listen when you're driving, doing household chores, or even working.

Sometimes, when I feel drained at night, hearing a song on the radio is enough to cheer me up. Radio is an old medium, but its analog charm really stands alone. I believe that radio will keep its role, even as the world undergoes rapid changes.

요즘은 수많은 유형의 방송매체가 존재하는 미디어 플랫폼 전성시대이다. 이러한 환경에서 라디오는 왠지 진보된 느낌은 아니다. 그렇지만 라디오는 분명히 그것만의 특별한/고유한 매력이 있다.

우선, 라디오 방송을 들으면서 DJ와 공감할 수 있고, 다른 청취자들과 강한 유대감을 형성할 수 있다. 또한, 라디오는 귀로 듣기만 하면 되기 때문에 다른 일과 병행할 수 있다. 운전이나 집안일, 심지어 업무를 하면서도 들을 수 있어서 좋다.

때로는 지친 저녁에 라디오에서 흘러나온느 노래 한곡을 들으며 위로를 받기도 한다. 라디오가 오래된 미디어이긴 하지만, 아날로그 감성의 매력은 정말 독보적이다. 설령 전세계가 빠른 변화를 겪는다고 하더라도 라디오는 라디오 나름대로의 위치를 지켜갈 것이라고 믿는다.
