저는 지갑이나 휴대폰을 잃어버린 경험이 좀 많은 편인데요.
그때마다 감사하게도 그걸 습득한 분들이 연락을 주셔서 대부분 원상태로 다시 찾을 수 있었어요.
한번은 현금이 없어진 상태로 지갑을 찾은 적 있었는데,
다행히 신분증 카드 등등은 그대로 있더라구요. 그게 어디예요?
오늘은 이와 관련된 영어표현 배워보도록 할께요.

영어로 돈은 없어졌으나 지갑을 찾았을 때, 쓸 수 있는 표현은?

직역: 그것은 아무것도 아닌 것보다 낫다
상황: 완전히 만족스럽지는 않은데, 그래도 조~~금이라도 얻을 수 있을 때
의역: 없는 것보다는 나아; 그게 어디냐

A: 운동 8시간이 어디야?
8 hours of workout is better than nothing.
8 hours of exercises is better than nothing.
이번만은 for once 좀 느긋하게 생각해봐
Get relaxed at least this time
Let your hair down for once.
B: 아침 새벽 3시지만 나는 지금 헬스장에 가는 중이야
It’s 3 am in the morning, but I’m on my way to the gym.
