[Speaking] Talk about a Day Trip to Hallasan Mountain
On weekends, I often go hiking in the mountains nearby my house. One day, I started to think about climbing Hallasan mountain on Jeju Island. I searched online to find out whether I could do it as a day trip. The first order of business to visit Baengnokdam crater lake at the mountain top is to make a reservation. Because of COVID-19, the number of visitors each day is limited to 1,500. Upon arriving at Jeju Airport on the first available flight, I went to the hiking information center. I checked in with the QR code I was given through the reservation system and started my hike. Hearing the birds singing and taking in the fresh air, I felt refreshed. I finally arrived at 백록담 at Hallasan mountain’s peak. Even though it was a weekday, people were waiting in line to take pictures. After descending the mountain, I went back to the airport, hopped on a plane and went home.

한라산 당일치기 등반에 대해서 이야기해주세요
나는 주말에 집 근처 산에 자주 올라간다. 그러던 어느 날, 제주도에 있는 한라산을 가볼까 생각하기 시작했다. 당일치기 여행으로 할 수 있는지 알아보려고 인터넷 검색을 했다.
산 정상에 있는 백록담에 가기 위해서 가장 먼저 해야하는 건 예약이다. 코로나19로 인해 하루방문객 수를 1500명으로 제한하고 있기 때문이다. 첫 비행기로 제주공항에 도착하자마자 탐방 안내소로 갔다. 예약시스템을 통해서 받은 QR코드로 체크인을 하고, 등산을 시작했다. 새소리를 듣고, 맑은 공기를 만끽하니, 기분이 상쾌해졌다. 마침내 한라산 정상에 있는 백록담에 도착했다. 평일임에도 불구하고, 사람들이 사진 찍으려고 줄서서 기다리고 있었다. 하산한 후, 공항으로 돌아가서 비행기에 올라타서 집에 갔다.
