[Speaking] Talk about the life of an Immigrant

A lot of younger people these days dream of relocating overseas.	요즘 많은 젊은 사람들이 해외 이민을 꿈꾼다.
I was one of those people.	나도 그런 사람들 중에 하나였다.
Now I am in my 30s, I have obtained a green card in Canada and I'm adjusting to life here.	지금 30대인 나는 캐나다의 영주권을 취득했고, 여기 삶에 적응하고 있다.
One of the selling points of emigrating has been that I have been freed from fine dusts	이민의 장점 중에 하나는 미세먼지로부터 해방된 것이다.
It's great to be able to breathe fresh air.	신선한 공기를 마실 수 있다는 게 정말 좋다.
Another advantage is that I am afforded respect for who I am.	또 다른 장점은 내가 누구인지에 대한 존중을 받는다는 것이다.
I really appreciate the social atmosphere of accepting people's individual inclinations.	각자의 성향을 인정해주는 사회적 분위기가 정말 너무 좋다.
But life as an immigrant has its drawbacks, too.	그러나 이민자로서의 삶은 단점도 있다.
The biggest is that I have to live so far away from my family.	가족들과 멀리 떨어져 살아야 한다는 것이 가장 큰 단점이다.
Also, I sometimes have a hard time because I can't fully grasp the local culture.	또한, 가끔씩 현지 문화를 이해 완전히 이해하지 못해서 어려움을 겪을 때가 있다.

F	Yes. A lot of my relatives have relocated overseas.	해외로 이민간 친척이 많아
M	Then, I supposed you have more opportunities to entertain the idea.	그 생각을 해볼 기회가 더 많았겠네
