크린스틴쌤: That’s why we have the acronym; ASMR.
크린스틴쌤: So, do you enjoy watching?
카메론쌤: Yeah,
크린스틴쌤: You do. What kind?
카메론쌤: I like the ones where it’s like the shaving your face or cut your hair. I like those types of sound. Depending on who you are, so some people, there is no reaction to the ASMR. But for some people it really affecs their thing like “it feels interesting, good.” I don’t know. Some people like paper crumbling. Some people like 쩝쩝소리 the smacking which I hate.
크린스틴쌤: Oh, I could not watch. You know that’s why the 먹방’s. I can not watch that cause it’s too much like 냠냠냠.
카메론쌤: But ASMAR general, do you listen to any?
크린스틴쌤: No, I haven’t.
카메론쌤: You’re a good sleeper. I used to go to sleep sometimes.
크린스틴쌤: Oh, interesting.
카메론쌤: I just have someone imaginary cut my hair and I fall asleep.
크린스틴쌤: That’s so intereseting. So this is why we have the article today. It reduces anxiety for certain people. We want to see why it does that.

ASMR videos, where people wishper on in to a microphone or do things like crinkling paper or brushing their hair, now make up about 5% of all new videos on youtube. ASMR or automonous sensory meridian response is the phenomenon many people feel when listening to certain sounds. It causes tingling sensation all over the body for some people. It’s believed that ASMR videos are low risk way to reduce stress. However, ASMR is not one-size-fits-all theraphy, since many people don’t experience the sensations associated with it.
종이를 구기거나 머릴 빗는 것과 행동을 하거나 마이크에 대고 속삭이는 ASMR 비디오는 유튜브에 올라오는 새로운 비디오 중에서 지금 약 5%를 차지한다. ASMR 또는 자율감각쾌락반응은 많은 사람들이 특정한 소리를 들을 때 느끼는 현상이다. 어떤 사람들에게는 몸 전체에서 따끔거리는 감각을 일으킨다. ASMR은 스트레스를 줄이는 데 저위험 방법으로 알려졌다. 그러나 많은 사람들이 그와 관련된 감각을 경험하는게 아니기 때문에 ASMR이 모두에게 적용되는 것은 아니다.
