[Speaking] Talk about becoming a homeowner
My husband and I have been married for 5 years now. But we still don't have a house to call our own. We have already moved 3 times. Our first home as newlyweds was in Ulsan. We met with the landlord and signed a lease for a lump sum deposit rental. We visited the local government office to report our moving in, and lived there for two years.
In February of 2019, we moved to Daejeon. We lucked out with a great landlord when we moved to Daejeon. Our lease expired after two years, so we extended the lease by two more years. Thanks to 3 major lease laws, we were able to renew the contract without the landlord raising the rent too much.
Recently, we applied for an apartment subscription draw. Unfortunately, we weren't picked. We still dream of being chose in the draw, with the aim of owning our own home

남편과 나는 올해로 결혼한지 5년차이다. 그런데 아직 우리 소유의 집이 없다. 우리는 지금까지 벌써 이사를 세번이나 했다. 우리의 첫 신혼집은 울산지역이었다. 집주인과 만나서 전세계약을 작성했다. 동사무소에 가서 전입신고를 하고 그곳에 2년간 거주하였다.
2019년 2월에 대전으로 이사왔다. 대전으로 이사를 오면서, 좋은 임대인을 만났다. 2년이 지나서 계약이 만료되어서 2년간 계약 연장을 하였다. 임대차 3법 덕분에, 집주인이 임대료를 많이 올리지 않고 재계약을 할 수 있었다.
최근에는 아파트 청약신청을 했는데, 안타깝게 떨어졌다. 우리는 내 집 마련을 목표로 여전히 청약당첨에 대한 꿈을 키워가고 있다.
